The day of Sara's wedding was absolutely perfect. The sun was out, the temperature was ideal, and everything was set up and ready to go. I was a little worried when I first found out that I would be 35 weeks pregnant for the day of her wedding but it ended up not being a big deal at all! I was a little tired by 10pm, but other than that I felt like my normal self, well, my normal self with a gigantic growth on the front of  my body.
In the early afternoon I drove out to Sara's adorable little farm house, where all of the other bridesmaids had started getting ready. We gathered around tiny mirrors and did each other's hair and make up giggling nervously the whole time. Sara had let us all pick out own dresses in yellow for the wedding, which was a great relief because I had to find one to fit my belly into!
The wedding itself was so sweet and perfect. Sara had her mom officiate the wedding, which was emotional and precious. It is so fun to see the parents on the day of their kid's wedding. I remember my mom being so nervous and excited with constant tears in her eyes (but she held it together like a champ). I can't imagine having to be that emotional AND officiate! Kuddos to you, Sheree! Her mom even surprised Sara by giving us all butterflies to release during their first kiss. It was such a sweet touch.
The evening was filled with hanging out around the big beautiful barn talking, eating, and dancing. It was fun to see Sara so happy! I'm so glad that she asked me to be her maid of honor. It was a beautiful wedding and weekend that I am so happy to have been a part of!

A wedding is an event in the couple's lives that they will never forget and we know that there are things that are precious to us. There are gifts to treasure and there are letters that will touch our hearts. I feel great after reading this post because this has changed my perception about weddings. The readers will feel the love and will never regret this post.
