# 1 Floral Antlers from Style Me Pretty #2 Copper Stocking Rack from Poppytalk #3 Mini Wooden Christmas Trees from Sugar and Cloth #4 Polar Tree Skirt from Anthropologie I have never really been very enthusiastic about Christmas. Don't get me wrong, I loved getting together with my family and opening presents as a child. I was always the first one up and shaking the silverware drawer in order to wake everyone else. I always loved our family tradition of making several packages of orange danish rolls and eating every single one of them until we have horrible stomach aches. The thing that I never truly felt 100 % about was the decor and general 'Christmas spirit' that everyone else seemed to have. I am beginning to feel as though that might be changing. This year I dreaded the day I would actually have to play Christmas music in my classroom. My students started begging for me to play it two weeks before Thanksgiving and I refused until after Thanksgiving. It was crazy though, once I started playing it I actually started to feel more relaxed. I am starting to enjoy Christmas music, I am starting to want to begin new traditions, and I have even found some christmas decorations that actually fit my style! These are a few of my favorite decor ideas from around the web. I love their simple, muted colored decor ideas and their metal accents. They all have a beautiful scandinavian feel that I absolutely love and could definitely see myself putting up in our home. While I am running short on time this year I am for sure going to save these beauties for next year. I plan on starting my collection right after this years Holiday season. What Christmas traditions/decor are you loving this year?
