I got the opportunity this past weekend to go over to my sweet friend Megan's house to take pictures of her precious newborn son and her family. We decided it was a win win, as she got photos of her sweet baby and I got a few photos of my swaddle blankets with an actual baby wrapped up in them. Plus, I LOVED taking pictures of Emmet when he was teeny tiny, so it was really fun to get to take pictures of a newborn again! It ended up being an eventful day, big brother was a hoot to photograph too as he ducked in to photos to give his little brother a kiss, we even played toys and I got to put his socks on for him, it was such a sweet peek into what my future with Emmet will be like!
It was so fun to see what my swaddles look like with a baby wrapped up in them! Emmet was already passed the swaddle stage when I started making the blankets, so I never got to actually him in them! They are the perfect size for a tight or loose swaddle, plus the texture of the blanket is super soft against baby's skin AND holds a swaddle tight (Emmet was always able to wiggle our muslin blankets loose). After swaddling Emmet used his to snuggle with, to cover him in his stroller and car seat, and so much more. They work perfect for the entire first year!
Thank you for letting me take pictures of your family Megan!
