I have been so looking forward to this past weekend for sometime now! Our friend's Erin and Landon flew back into town this past weekend, so my friend Patty and I decided to throw her a bridal shower while they were in town! I am so excited for their wedding coming up this summer and I am really glad that we could take a day to celebrate with friends around home!
Patty and I decided that it would be really fun to have a "Pancakes and Coffee" themed Bridal Shower to honor Erin's love for all things breakfast and her history as a barista. We made pancakes, scones, quiches, and cookies (Patty gets most of the food credit) and served coffee and mimosas. I created skewers to stick into our pancakes that ended up being way too tall but they were so much fun anyways!
The party ended up being so much fun! We did a favorite memories of Erin guessing game on cards that I created and a "create a wedding dress for erin" game. I collected a bunch of coffee filters, coffee beans, chiffon, and other items and we split up into three groups to create a dress for Erin. It ended up being so much fun and the dresses that people created were hilarious!
I'm so glad that we were able to take an afternoon to celebrate with Erin on her upcoming wedding. I am so looking forward to the actual ceremony in August!
