I swear, this kid is on the brink of running around the house like a maniac, and while I realize that my life is about to change a whole lot (because literally everyone tells me that followed by an ever endearing "good luck" or "and now you'll get nothing done"), I am in love with him accomplishing new things. He has been standing at the edge of furniture and cruising around it for quite some time now, but he hasn't really been brave enough to branch out. A friend of mine recommended this Hape walker to us, and he LOVES it! He walks all over the house with it giggling and sticking his tongue out, just having a blast. On top of that he has even started to push himself up to standing and stood there for a few seconds a few times! I think he'll be walking by next week and I've got to tell you, this momma is super excited.
