This is the land that we got married on, that we camped out on on our first anniversary, the land that I hobbled around on when I was 8 months pregnant, and the land that I nursed Emmet on when he was only a few weeks old. It is one of our very spots to go and spend family time together, so we thought it only fitting that when Emmet started to show interest in walking we take him out to practice in the grass that we love.
He has been working on his walking for a little while now. He holds my fingers as we run around the house and lets out adorable little giggles as Moose prances along beside us (because of course Moose thinks it is a game for him). Lately he prefers standing to sitting and loves perching himself at the coffee table eating puffs and throwing every toy I offer him on to the ground after shaking it around in the air a few times. He is my strong little boy. He'll be walking on his own in no time!
On the land he only walked a little, just enough to get the mud on his shoes and knock them off a handful of times (baby shoes...am I right?). We hobbled around before he plopped in the grass and squished it and the mud between his tiny little fingers and we scooped him up and carried him for the rest of the walk.

The prairi grass seems to be an awesome place to visit If you are real finding a natural place to visit. The quality of this place is that there is the combination of different climates, rainfalls and shrubs on the whole ground. This land is developed from many years and it was named prairi by the old men who visited it first.
