It's been a minute since I updated the journal with new items in the shop! We've got a couple of brand new this week items and some fun collaborations from around Christmas time!
These two prints are new this week and are prints from paintings I made for two amazing ladies in my life with no intention going in for turning them into prints. But I loved them so much that I ended up making copies! Each print features an image inspired by a connection I share with each woman. The cow skull and prickly poppies was originally painted for my mother in law who shares my love for the Kansas prairie. She loves walking around in the grasses picking up bones and bouquets of wildflowers probably even more than I do. The second new print was originally painted for my old boss at Mojo's Coffee Bar, Patty. We met and bonded over making endless cups of coffee for the people of Newton/North Newton, and became even better friends after I had moved on to teaching and then to motherhood & self employment. Patty is opening up a new Bakehouse here soon and we decided she needed some art! I painted this chemex of coffee for her and we loved it so much we decided to sell it online and in her shop. Find both prints here.
When having a new baby, whether you are breastfeeding or bottle feeding, you are feeding that new little one around the clock. I remember feeling so overwhelmed by that with my first baby and this time around, knowing it was coming, I felt a lot better! Our new greeting card is perfect for either wishing a new mama good luck on their new adventure OR telling a veteran mama, or your own, how amazing they are. Find them here.
We released three new fabrics over the last few months! A dainty blue floral designed for Avery & Grey, rolling hills and cattle designed for Westbrick Salon & Boutique, and the cutest little houses on a soft pink background designed with Love of Character in mind. I'm loving designing fabrics for other small businesses and can't wait to start back up again!
