I can barely believe that this little boy turns two today, I swear I was just planning his first birthday party and now we are about to have his second! I've been looking back at pictures from this past year and it is so hard to believe how much he has grown in just 12 months. He still looked so much like a little baby at his last birthday party and now I get glimpses of not only a toddler, but a little boy! He is so fun to watch these days, his little personality is really starting to develop and he. is. hilarious.
YOU- Are finally tall enough to scoot around the house on your little ride on bike - only eat Annies mac & cheese, restaurant pizza, PB & Honey Sandwiches, chicken nuggets, and most salty things - love watching Moana (still), Frozen, and Coco.. but you are starting to enjoy other movies too - love to wash your hands in the bathroom sink and to play in the bathtub - carry Moose's food into the living room and feed it to him piece by piece - give your brother big slobbery kisses and tuck his stuffed animals in with him - greet everyone in the morning when you wake up (even Moose) - move from activity to activity every five minutes, you are a very busy little boy! - LOVE to go outside; playing in the backyard, at the park, and walking to the post office are your very favorite and you ask to go outside (in the funniest way) ALL THE TIME - love looking out the window for birds, kitties, squirrels, and cars - love to ready books so much that we can't read them before nap anymore because you just get too excited - say a lot of words, most often, "do you see?", "help", "uh oh", "Hi", "bye", and "dada" - drag your blanket all around the house, it is your favorite thing - unload the drier and push the laundry basket back into the bedroom - get funnier each day.
MAMA- Feels bad for passing on her shortness, hopefully it won't last - loves to observe the way you interact with the world - loves it when you are calm enough to lay down and snuggle - goes a little crazy on the days you choose not to nap - hopes one day soon you'll eat a new food - feels for you each time you fall or bump your head, but loves the way your little legs make you look like a little boy - loves how much you love your little brother, because oh how she stressed about that - is excited to spend another year with you and watch you grow and learn (but also secretly wishes she could keep you this way forever)
