I just listed a TON of new items in the shop, including the first few items from my upcoming collaborations! I've been working hard to get as much painted, restocked, and created before baby comes in April! It should be a pretty busy month or two for the house and the shop! Here's what is new this week:
-New 5x7 girl power fine art prints! I painted this one for the Women's March a few weeks ago and decided it would be fun to sell prints. Get them while they last!
-Butterfly Card sets designed for Dyck Arboretum. It includes 6 different Butterflies found in the Kansas area; a monarch, buckeye, tiger swallowtail, painted lady, grey hairstreak, and cloudless sulphur.
-New Cactus Baby Blankets, Burp Rags, and Teether Toys designed to fit with the boho chic vibe at Liv + Work!
-ICT Flag Baby Blankets, Burp Rags, and Teether Toys available online and at The Workroom.
-Monarch enamel pins! Our second design of enamel pin... they make the cutest pair!
We've listed quite a few things in the shop since our last update! December was a busy month of custom paintings, collaborations, AND of new products. Read a little more about them below:
-We celebrated the launch of our first ever limited edition winter print! Meet the narwhals and their arctic fishy friends available in baby blankets, burp rags, and teether toys. We only purchased a few yards of this fabric and won't be restocking... so if you like it grab it now!
-All of our cards got a little bit of a make-over! We're currently working on polishing up the brand/website a little bit and wanted to make sure that the cards fit in the new style. All cards now feature a beautiful font that corresponds with our future new logo! Check them out!
-We added brand new enamel pins to the mix! They are the cutest little accessory to add on to any outfit, purse, coat, hat, scarf, backpack, you name it! Currently we have little tiny bees available, but more will be coming soon!
-Two brand new tea towel designs have been added to the shop! One in our favorite sunflower print and the other with our new butterfly designs for Dyck Arboretum! The Sunflower towels are slowly making their way into shops across Kansas, but the butterflies are only available online and at the Dyck Arboretum Gift Shop.
Did anyone else have a "holy crap, it's december" moment like I did? All of the sudden it is time to decorate the house, listen to She & Him christmas on repeat, AND get gifts purchased for everyone you love! Luckily I worked ahead a little bit and had a few gifts already bought, but I definitely freaked out a little when I realized that I still had so many to buy (and figure out!) and not as much time as I thought!
I've got a few ideas for you though from this little shop of mine! A custom painting is always a cute idea (and I only have a few spots left!), and completely personalizable for the person you are buying one for! I've already had some really cute ideas come my way that I'd be happy to share with you if you need an idea or two. If you DO have an idea though or want to know our custom prices you can contact me here!
$20 and under ideas
-A print for some one to hang on their walls
-A teether toy, card, and sachet (the cutest stocking stuffer for a new mom or baby)
-Card Sets, for the person who keeps a pen pal.
Under $50 ideas
-A tea towel and cloth napkins, for the person who loves to be in there kitchen and have friends over for baked goods or coffee.
-Any one of our three baby bundles- Mini, Deluxe, or Spitty Baby. Perfect for the new momma who needs lots of things for her new baby!
There are a lot of new items in the shop! We updated our teether toy design to feature a new, organic, and entirely U.S. sourced wooden ring that is coated with all natural beeswax to help preserve the wood AND it is safe for baby! Plus I think the new teethers are even cuter... but maybe that is just me!
With new teether toys and no longer selling bandana bibs (snag the last ones here), we needed to redo our baby bundles! We now have three baby bundles for you to choose from, either for yourself or for a gift, either way you are saving money! My personal favorite is our brand new bundle of our super absorbent burp rags for those spittier babies (aka normal babies?!?). Because let's be honest, one burp rag for a baby just won't do, and ours are a mom favorite!
It was about time for a new print in the shop! I recently painted one of my FAVORITE flowers, a pink protea! A few years ago I walked into our grocery store, saw one, bought it, and fell in love. I've been looking for one ever since and have been admiring them all over pinterest. I decided to go ahead and paint one for myself. Prints are now limited edition, make sure to snag one if you like it before they are gone!
....Aaaaand our holiday cards are FINALLY listed! Grab one or grab a few, perfect for a hand written note to go with your Christmas gifts, a place for your gift cards to go, OR for you to just let someone know how much you love them this holiday season.
You can now also make any purchase into a gift by adding a card and lavender sachet to any order. Items will be tied up with bakers twine and arrive smelling absolutely amazing. The perfect way to send a gift to someone you love.
A few weeks ago my friend, Sara, and I got together and made three different pies all with ingredients from our local store Prairie Harvest (where we both happen to work)! It was fun to spend the whole day getting our hands messy and spend time together in my newly cleaned kitchen (its rare). In case you are thinking that I have things together though, just know we made the pies at my house in my small kitchen, baked the pies at Dave's work (next door) because our oven broke a few months ago and we STILL haven't fixed it, AND we ate the pies in my awesome, super friendly neighbor's backyard, because it is cuter than mine. We still have work to go on this little house of ours and some major adulting to figure out. I just post the cute stuff ;)
We invited a few friends over to help us eat all of the pies and snapped a few pictures for Prairie Harvest and for Lavender & Clover! How cute do our brand new napkins and tea towels look on this table? They definitely brighten things up! Make sure to snag some for yourself AND stop by Prairie Harvest if you live in town to grab a Pie Crust recipe card, as well as some amazing fillings from Grandma Hoerner's and some Salted Creamery Ice Cream to serve with it!
