Ivy and Oliver is such an adorable little shop. I found them when I was searching high and low for a knotted sleeper. I couldn't find them anywhere, but was so happy when I found them from a handmade store! Ivy and Oliver also carries adorable hats, baby moccasins, wall banners, and more. They are most definitely one of my favorite shops and I know our little bub is going to love sleeping in his knotted sleeper!
I've been told that I will fail at this (in the most kind and loving way), but I'd really like to avoid shoving a screen or any toy that makes sounds into my son's face for as long as possible. I know in this day and age it isn't the easiest thing to do, but I really think it is important for them to learn to play and learn for their internal enjoyment before they start getting external rewards (it blinks and makes sounds?!?). Eventually we do plan on getting him up to date with technology, Dave is a computer programer, but for now I will bask in toys that inspire his little imagination to grow and flourish. I love these wooden toys from Imagination Kids, I would get every single one if my budget and tiny house allowed me to! I think that they are the perfect toy to spark creativity and they look adorable too! Function and aesthetics? Yes please!
Ive been a fan of Thief and Bandit kids and their adult store for quite sometime. Their prints and designs are beyond perfect! So whimsical and fun and they would make the perfect comfy lounging wear for any baby. I'll take one of each please.
Okay, so I might be a little biased on this one. But no, not really. I love kids tents and I just to happen to love my sister in law as well. She runs an adorable little etsy shop called Lil Brett & Co, where she sells kids tents, wooden signs, and measuring "rulers". I plan four our little guy to have one of these tents to play with. I suppose it goes along with my imaginative play initiative!
