a photo of Emmet every week in 2017

These photo series has turned out to be one of the highlights of my week. If I don't find an impromptu moment to snap a picture I set up a photo shoot on Saturday or Sunday morning, which I look forward to all week! I love watching this little guy grow up a little bit in each photograph and capturing the new things he has accomplished or just a moment from his life that week. Of course, Moose cannot be left out, as he is the king of the house. He manages to make his way into at least a few of the outtakes every week, so I figured I'd share a few this week.
This past few days Emmet has been getting pretty adventurous and seems to just be soaking in knowledge left and right! He crawls around and gets up and down from things effortlessly, he drinks from his sippy cup all by himself (with 80% accuracy.. but we'll count it), AND as of last night he learned to clap his hands. I'm a pretty proud mama who is now going overboard with teaching new things.
